The article discusses certain aspects of the formation of enlarged (general, basic, etc.) methods of investigating crimes, as one of the most important directions in the development of modern criminology. The construction of such methods involves the initial allocation of not only common criminal law, but also forensic classification features. The possibility of forming enlarged (general, basic, etc.) methods of investigation in relation to crimes located in different sections and (or) chapters of the Special Part of the Criminal Code, which is typical for acts of corruption, is substantiated. To build a similar methodology for investigating corruption crimes, it is proposed to be based on the characteristics of the subjects of the acts and the sphere of official activity, which allows us to consider them as the basis for the forensic classification of crimes in this group. It is concluded that the formation of enlarged (general, basic, etc.) methods of investigating crimes (including corruption ones) is the basis for obtaining qualitatively new methodological recommendations of an applied nature.
