The article deals with topical issues of personnel training for the judicial system and, in this regard, the features of selection to the magistracy of the Academy of Justice at the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The interest in this topic is due to the fact that highly professional judicial personnel, being a key factor in the functioning of an independent judicial system, ensure the implementation of the rule of law, the quality of the administration of justice, the legality of decisions taken by courts and, as a result, an increase in the level of confidence in the judicial system on the part of the population. Therefore, the issues of the formation of the judicial corps from the most worthy and trained candidates require special attention.
