Abstract

Some promising innovative directions for the development of forensic tools, methods, and approaches to the detection and investigation of crimes are considered. The main directions of development and implementation of innovations in the field of forensic technology are described. The author notes that the introduction of innovations in the practice of investigating crimes is hampered by some factors that are subjective (the level of competence of the subject) and methodological (development of appropriate methods for the application of innovative products).
