Judicial protection and protection of the rights of minors are provided by legal mechanisms for regulating public relations in criminal proceedings, tactical and psychological developments based on the achievements of psychology, criminology, criminology, pedagogy.
The systemic and complex nature of the knowledge of juvenile criminal offenses determines the criminal procedural mechanisms for regulating the interaction of minors with other participants in the
criminal process, their procedural status.
Based on the age insecurity of minors, the special nature of proceedings on cases of criminal offenses of minors is determined with the disclosure of procedural guarantees to ensure the protection
and safeguarding of the rights of minors in criminal proceedings. The ensuring function of procedural
guarantees is conditioned by studies of the value-normative, needs-motivational sphere of the minor’s personality, behavioral stereotypes that determine the motivational-regulatory mechanisms of committing criminal acts.
